So, I'm back with Episode 3! Hahaha, thank goodness we're having sem break right now so Eros is back in Melaka therefore we're on a break. Which means, no cafe hunting for a month, which means I get to update this series! *claps gleefully*

Anyway, we visited this little cafe because of Amylia. She works there and asked us to pay the place a little visit because she guaranteed that it's really nice so we took her word for it!

     Let me just update you guys for a bit before I get to the post. So it's sem break now. It started last week but I hardly had any time to update my blog. Exams ended on 1st December and I had work after the last paper. Wednesday and Thursday were practically my rest days. I forgot what I did but I think I went out w Eros.


Friday, 4th December '15 - Secret Santa    |                             The gang and I (The Breakfast Club) had our Secret Santa gift exchanging. I'm calling out on all of them cause they all cheated. Well, that's another blog post. Anyway, I went to Langkawi for a short holiday from the 5th-9th and yes, there will also be another blog post about that (hopefully). So now I'm back and everyday is gonna be work for me because laying in bed isn't gonna make me happy. Plus, I have so many things to pamper myself with.

CAFES w EROS | EP2 : MACALLUM CONNOISSEURS

I am super late for this post. Eros is on Episode FAR FROM WHERE I AM RIGHT NOW, and here I am only starting to type out Episode 2 of Café Hopping w Eros and Fufy. Hahah! He is way more efficient than I am, but then I have been either too busy and if I have the time, I’d either be too tired.

A couple of months ago, Eros and I decided to go to Macallum Connoisseur and we invited #bevin ( Bella and Kevin ) to tag along. Gerald was supposed to join us but being the busy boy he is, he couldn’t. My god, I remember the struggles I had with the DSLR – the ISO, shutter speed and aperture. I was new okay. I did not know how to function that contraption.  I’m better now tho, hehe.


SUNDAY EVENING'S

So I thought I'd share with you my Sunday pamper routine! ✌
Sundays are usually my rest days from life. It's usually my alone time. I would either spend the morning grocery shopping or just go for a  quick window shopping spree.

#1 BODY

SO , first things first - I always start off with a good body scrub. I've been planning to get some crazy fancy ass scrub from either body shop or bath&body works but then I found this heavenly thing. It's the Ginvera white jasmine and ginger scrub. OMG this smells amazing and it makes me feel so relaxed after a bath.

#2 CLEANSING 1.0

After that I usually, heat up some water and pour half of them into a face bowl then add in cold water till it's warm. I also, put a wet tissue inside the water for wiping. I prefer using the bowl and slowly cleanse it instead of standing in front the shower because I feel that it's more soothing for the face.

I finally have the time to sit my ass down to write a post. Actually, I have a lot of posts coming up but I thought I would update a bit on my life - what I have been doing and why I've been gone. 

It's 3AM in the morning and I have to wake up early for vocals class but I just feel like writing, you know? So recently I have been juggling between work and college. At first I thought I can handle it very well. Maybe it's because I started with only two days of work. Then lately I have been struggling like crazy. I've been working more than I should - going to work straight after class, studying during work. I barely have time for myself. I skipped classes because I was so tired. I realized it was not as easy as I thought it would be.

I AM BACK (like I promise) !

 Eros (my very good college mate/business partner/partner in crime) and I have this vision of us, having our own show called 'TONIGHT W EROS AND FUFY'. So we always had fun planning things and pretending that we have our own show. Anyway, if you follow me on Instagram, you would know I have been going to cafes quite often. I now have this list of cafes I want to go to during my semester break. 

 Last Friday I had PDL exam and the weather was really nice about it as when I came out from the hall it was raining heavily. The gang and I went for Tom Yam at Prangin then after that Eros followed me home to pack my stuff for volley that evening. Hah! On the way there I suddenly thought about Frank Laurent because it has been a while since I've been itching to go there! Convinced Eros to visit the place so here we are!

C A F E    H U N T I N G

I recently have this need to sit in cafes and just spend quality time alone or with someone. So I thought why not try out new cafes. I actually went to Haven Harbour last week to finish up my assignments but I like the place so much I couldn't resist going back again this week! I was in the mood so I decided to write about the place.

 Hahahahah! Judge all you want for the name I came up with but I like it, it's super cute! For those of you who don't know, granola is toasted/roasted oats covered with honey or maple syrup with nuts or dried fruits. I used to buy granola and it's pretty pricey plus the portion is way too much especially for someone like me because I cannot stick to the same thing, I'll get sick of it. So I decided to make my own granola mainly because of portion control and I can change the ingredients every time I make a new batch! So today, I'm sharing a simple recipe but of course you can add or change the ingredients as you wish.

• Traveling while working or I get a chance to travel in the nearby future. Then at that very time, opportunity strikes. There's an audition for a musical - maybe in new york city or a small town. I decide to give it a shot and audition for it. I am not only nervous ; the blood rushes through my veins that I'm literally red, sweaty clammy hands and nausea (panicky but healthy panic). The assistant calls my name so I take a deep breath and walk in the auditorium. I introduce myself, act out a scene and I sing 'Broadway Baby' or 'Being Alive' or just the song from the musical itself. I end my last note with a bang and look at them. The director and music director look at me sternly and say "Thank you for coming, we will let you know". I express my gratitude and leave the place worried but positive. At least I can say I give it a try.

It doesn't matter. Does it require a certain body size or weight to be healthy? Do you need to be society’s ‘skinny’ or ‘fit’ to be healthy? The answer may vary as people think differently but my answer is no. Why no? Because body size and weight do not matter.

AHHHH BREAKFAST - most important meal of the day and c'mon, who doesn't like waking up to food first thing in the morning? Do you know that breakfast prevents one from overeating for the rest of the day? I have to admit that I was not a breakfast fan last time. I decided to make it a habit to have breakfast a year ago and I'm now proud to say that I eat breakfast 6 times a week (bcos i sleep till 12pm on sundays). I prepare most of them overnight so I don't have to wake up that early. The ones I'm showing you will be more on the healthy side but you can use whatever you want. So, lets get on with it!

I got this idea a week ago because I have been making these a lot. Plus, a few of my friends were wondering what I put in my smoothies so why not? So, smoothies. I never liked any healthy stuff before. These words would usually pop into my head when I see them or asked to try it - 'Ew' or 'Disgusting'. I used to rather die then eat any healthy things. Oh goodness, now I just love love loveeee it! I switch my coffee with this every morning now. It's  way much more healthy and it gives me twice the energy (which I need for college). Now, lets start.
